Online Bingo

As with all forms of internet gambling online bingo is gaining a significant level of popularity, particularly in the UK where traditional bingo remains popular in many areas. Online bingo is played in much the same way that regular bingo is played, there is little difference in the rules the only significant change is that it is played from the comfort of your own home in front of the computer rather than at a bingo hall.

Just like regular bingo, in a game of online bingo numbers are randomly selected and players mark these numbers of their bingo score cards, which have three rows of five numbers. If a player marks of five numbers of a horizontal row, this a ‘line’ and they qualify for a prize. Prizes are also available for people with two lines, or three lines, which is known as full house. Players scoring full house in real and online bingo are entitled to the top prize, which can be a significant sum of money in high stake games.

In online bingo the players will have six tickets, each with fifteen numbers on them. Ninety in total, so every time a number is called it will be on one of the tickets. However, matching five numbers in a row on the same ticket is the challenge in online bingo.

Online bingo is essentially exactly the same game as regular, real life bingo. There is no chance in the rules, the online difference being the lack of a caller and physical bingo tickets.
